[Auto Post] Blighty boogie!

Ta-ta for now Continential Europe with your many types of sausages, cheeses, oddly shaped & coloured bread, schnitzel, sauerkraut and driving on the wrong side of the road just like the Americans! Hello again Britannia with your fish & chips, mushy peas, fried Mars Bars, grey weather and Chicken Tikka Masala… Hmmm, have I mentioned mushy peas? :P

I do hope the railway isn’t on strike or interruptions by the perpetual engineering works (you’ve been at them for the last decade or something?) and that there is a seat for weary old me for the one and a bit hour journey from London to Northampton. Still, Blighty should feel positively warm after Continential Europe, so there will be no case of “un-seasonably heavy clothing” for me! :D

  3. Susi: Yup… fried Mars chocolate bars, dipped in batter no less. Think of it as the Scots doing Mars Bar tempura… :D

    NeoThermalPantz: Hush you! :P

  4. Hmmm… Those fried Mars Bars sound almost good. Can I just have a Snickers instead of the Mars?…

  5. Yes, yes… they apparently do fried Snickers bar too, amongst other confectionary. A very quick way to clogged arteries non the less!
