Enough of this “going round in little circles” as I’m now once again on a long haul flight to Dubai, a place I last “set foot in”, way back in November of 1990. Mr. Hussain had just invaded Kuwait only a few months prior in that year and the thing I recall were police at the now ex-Hong Kong Kaitak Airport being armed with mean looking automatic rifles. Dubai Airport was likewise guarded by military personel.
This will however be the first time I’ve actually gone out of the airport though (with a bonus re-visit of Changi International Airport in Singapore), so shall be interesting what little gems Dubai has to offer for a rather camera snap-happy me! :D
